Derby Pie

2 eggs
3/4 c sugar
8 Tbsp butter, melted
1/4 c bourbon whiskey
1/4 c cornstarch
1 c chopped pecans
12 oz dark chocolate chips
1 9″ graham cracker pie shell

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In mixing bowl, beat eggs and gradually add sugar. Add melted butter and bourbon. Blend in the cornstarch. Stir in the pecans and chocolate chips. Pour into the pie shell and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Serve slightly warm with whipped cream.
